2023 IMMAF Pan American Championships - FINALS
The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) announces the 2023 IMMAF Pan American Championships, which will take place in Bogota, Colombia.
The 2023 Pan Ams feature as part of the 2023 Brave Pan-American Combat Week, in conjunction with Brave Combat Federation and the Colombian Association of Mixed Martial Arts (OCAMM).
The Championships also marks the first major IMMAF event in the continent since the launch of the Pan American Confederation of MMA (PACMMA) continental governing body.
Host nation Colombia is expected to field an impressive team of athletes as they seek to improve on a solid 2022 campaign that resulted in them capturing six medals in total.
The 2022 edition acted as a launchpad for several MMA prospects, including the USA’s Anthony Orozco, who went on to capture a silver medal at the 2022 IMMAF World Championships before signing a professional contract with Cage Warriors.
Brave Pan-American Combat Week also marks the first edition of the largest combat sports festival to take place in Latin America, culminating with Brave CF 73 on August 12.
Two IMMAF alumni will clash in the event’s main event, with former two-time IMMAF World Championship gold medallist, Jose Torres (USA) facing former IMMAF Africa Championships gold medallist, Nkosi Ndebele (RSA), for the vacant BRAVE CF bantamweight world title.
